Why we started Fiji rugby experience

We created Fiji Rugby Experience to give back to Fiji and share the warmth, culture and community spirit that make this country so special. Fiji has a unique sense of community, connection and belonging that stays with you long after you leave.

Our tours offer young people the opportunity to step away from their screens, immerse themselves in Fijian culture, build lasting friendships and develop a greater appreciation for others.

Giving back is at the heart of everything we do. Through every tour, we support the local schools and rugby communities that welcome us, helping create meaningful opportunities for young Fijians.

SHARNIE ANSON Director, Event Operations and Partnerships

Sharnie brings more than 20 years of experience in event management, corporate partnerships and community engagement, with extensive expertise in planning, coordinating and delivering successful events and experiences.

As Director of Event Operations and Partnerships, she oversees the planning and delivery of Fiji Rugby Experience tours, managing everything from logistics and supplier relationships to partnerships and the overall guest experience.

Her strong leadership, organisational skills and attention to detail ensure every tour is professionally managed, seamless and memorable for players, families and supporters.

Passionate about bringing people together, Sharnie takes pride in creating meaningful experiences, building lasting relationships and making a positive impact both on and off the rugby field.

SALLY MANN Director, Education and School Partnerships

Sally is a qualified teacher with more than 25 years in classrooms in Australia and the United Kingdom, across independent and government schools. She loves teaching and empowering students, and she makes sure every tour is an education as well as an adventure. Sally looks after the learning program and works with each school on its approvals.

LUKE - Rugby Advisor

Luke Mann brings a lifetime of rugby experience, having represented Australian Schoolboys, Australian Universities, Australian Barbarians and Australian Under-21s. His club career included first grade rugby with Randwick, winning the 2000 premiership, and playing professionally in the UK with Orrell RFC and Richmond RFC.

Following his playing career, Luke moved into coaching and club administration, working with players from Under-6s through to Under-18s, primarily through the Clovelly Eagles and Randwick Warriors, as well as more recently with Warringah.

Luke’s coaching philosophy is built around developing individual potential while creating strong, cohesive teams where every player understands their role and contribution.

Passionate about rugby tours and the experiences they create, Luke supports Fiji Rugby Experience in delivering professionally organised rugby programs, quality opposition and memorable experiences that combine player development, team culture and the unique spirit of Fiji rugby.
